My research is in labor economics, political economy, economic history, and the economics of education. I study the causes and consequences of economic inequality and mobility, with a focus on education, housing, and political representation.
My advisors are Sandra Black, Peter Bergman, and Eric Chyn, and my research is supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Before graduate school, I worked at the Boston Consulting Group and taught English in South Korea as a Fulbright fellow. I hold a BA in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College.
